St Michael and All Angels Church
Middlewich
Middlewich tower bell ringers ring the bells for church services and special occasions. Recently this has included ringing in mourning for the death of Queen Elizabeth II and for the Coronation of King Charles III. We also ring before the Sunday morning service from 8.45 till 9.15.
The bell ringers meet to practice on a Tuesday evening from 7.30 till 9 pm. We are usually joined by ringers from other towers: as in many places, visiting ringers are made very welcome.
If you would like to learn how to ring please contact Mr Simon Taylor (Tower Captain) on 01606 834095 or simontaylor78@aol.com
Although the ringing chamber is underneath the bells, the steps up to it are many and often uneven. We would like to emphasise that we do not take people to the top of the tower.
Anybody under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
