Last Friday evening, 6th March, saw another successful Charity fundraiser take place in No28. Two exuberant and lively teams battled it out as they played Channel Island Cricket, over the course of the evening. For the uninitiated, this is far from an energetic event. Not much more is required other than to chuck a few discs onto a board to either score runs or take wickets. All helped along by your team cheering you on or booing the opositing …. all in good humor. The added bonus were the delicious puds which kept us all going at half time. A thoroughly enjoyable evening saw Team B soundly thrash Team A, which was not the slight bit important other than it helped raise over ÂŁ400 for the charities that St Michael’s support this year, and a good time was had by all.
